Presenting - The Recipe Diary

The Recipe Diary is the product of some heated discussions and arguments between me and The Husband (TH).

Every weekend we used to turn to the many recipe blogs and websites out there to search for a dish we can make using the ingredients we had in the kitchen. We had to do exhaustive searches online to find the recipe which met our requirements. Obviously, we were too lazy to walk to the store on a Sunday morning for groceries! This made us think how useful it would be if, instead of searching for names of dishes and being unsure of what ingredients are needed, we could just key in the ingredients we have and get a list of dishes we can make! And that's what led to the conception of "The Recipe Diary," which we hope in time will do exactly what we mentioned and make your life in the kitchen easier!

We hope to make this an exhaustive database of Indian Recipes, easily searchable so that the common bachelor, busy housewives, working men/women or just anybody who wants to whip up a quick dish, can find it here. We've added a friendly search form to help you with just that!

We think this database can grow only with your valuable contributions, so do keep them coming. There will be occasional contests and giveaways to get things heated up in The Recipe Diary kitchen so watch out for that too.

Your submissions have been added to our spanking new website and is now searchable to anyone who is looking for good Indian recipes. The recipe will have your picture, your name and a link to your website so that you too get some link love from us :)

We'll be adding lip smacking recipes reguarly and working on the overall look and usability of the website, but it's ultimately you guys who will make this database a success. Please do send us your thoughts, suggestions, critcism and we'll do our best to improve on them!
